About this event
A hands-on EMBO Practical Course at EMBL Heidelberg for PhD students and early-career postdocs working with spheroids, organoids and tissue explants. Nine practical sessions cover establishing cultures, choosing extracellular matrix, longitudinal microscopy, viability and metabolic assays, preparing single cells for omics, and image segmentation with machine learning, with an emphasis on reproducibility and reporting. Online modules come first, and the group is small, with only 14 places chosen by motivation letter.
