Science communication across Africa is the theme of this symposium in Dakar, led by ISAAA AfriCenter with ICGEB support. Discussions cover governance and public trust, countering misinformation, communication for innovation and One Health, research translation, digital tools including AI, and stakeholder engagement. Researchers, communicators, journalists, policymakers, regulators and farmer organisations from across the continent take part. It suits scientists who want their work understood and trusted beyond the lab, and some early-career places are funded.
