About this event

ICGEB and INDICASAT run this course in Panama on gene editing and assisted reproduction in laboratory mice. Theory covers CRISPR design and its uses in rodents, genotyping, microinjection, embryo electroporation, phenotyping, IVF and embryo and sperm cryopreservation, and can be followed online. A small in-person group also gets demonstrations and hands-on lab sessions. Applicants should hold a life sciences degree and have experience with lab mice and PCR, and scholarships are available for some early-career researchers.
