About this event

This five-day hands-on course at the Sri Lanka Institute of Biotechnology teaches how to grow 3D brain organoids from induced pluripotent stem cells and use them to model movement disorders. Sessions cover neurodegeneration, stem cell therapeutics, organoid technology and translational neuroscience, organised with ICGEB. It is open to students, postdocs, junior researchers and clinicians, with preference for applicants from ICGEB member states and limited scholarships for early-career researchers.
