About this event

EMBL-EBI's five-day course near Cambridge takes PhD students and postdocs new to high-throughput sequencing from raw reads to variants. Lectures and hands-on practicals cover quality control, read alignment, SAM and BAM files, calling SNPs, indels, structural and copy-number variants, long-read workflows, Ensembl VEP and building reproducible pipelines. You will need to be comfortable at the Unix command line, and a virtual BASH session is offered beforehand.
