About this event
This EMBO Practical Course at EMBL Heidelberg teaches correlative light and electron microscopy at room temperature and under cryo conditions. Hands-on practicals cover high-pressure and plunge freezing, ultramicrotomy, cryo light microscopy, FIB-SEM workflows and software such as SerialEM and Icy, taught by more than 25 experts from EMBL, universities and industry. It is limited to 20 participants, aimed at facility staff, PhD students, postdocs and group leaders who already know EM, and entry is by application.
