Researchers who are new to metabolomics and plan to use it in their work will find a practical grounding in this week-long EMBL-EBI course near Cambridge. Lectures and hands-on sessions follow a study from experimental design and LC-MS and imaging data acquisition through processing and compound annotation. Participants work with public data and tools including MetaboLights and Galaxy, and finish with real case studies. Places are limited and awarded by application, and some command-line familiarity helps.
