About this event
An online EMBL-EBI course that gives wet and dry lab researchers a grounding in RNA-seq, from experimental design and file formats to quality control, mapping, visualisation and long-read data. Participants build a Nextflow pipeline and learn functional interpretation with Expression Atlas and g:Profiler, working through trainer-led practicals on small example datasets. Some Linux and R helps but is not essential. Places are limited, there is a selection process, and everyone gives a short flash talk on their own research.
