About this event
Now in its eighth edition, this biennial EMBO and EMBL symposium in Heidelberg looks at how new technologies, from systems approaches to single-cell methods, are changing microbiology. Topics include bacterial physiology, microbiomes, interactions with hosts and phages, and microbial ecology. Invited speakers come from institutes across Europe and the US, and the meeting can also be followed online. PhD students, academics and industry researchers attend, and on-site participants may submit abstracts for talks or posters.
