About this event

This intensive ICGEB course in Córdoba teaches how to engineer bacteria with synthetic biology and CRISPR tools for industrial, agricultural and environmental use. Lectures, hands-on lab practicals, discussions and project work cover modular genetic systems, chassis choice and metabolic engineering, with teachers including Víctor de Lorenzo and Pablo Nikel. It is meant for postgraduate students and early-career researchers with some molecular biology experience, and limited grants are available for Latin American nationals of ICGEB member states.
