This EMBO | EMBL Symposium in Heidelberg explores the conversation between mother and fetus, from implantation and early placental development to trophoblast invasion, decidualisation and immune interactions. Sessions also cover organoid and stem cell models, single-cell and spatial omics, and the mechanisms behind pregnancy disorders. Researchers and clinicians at every career stage are welcome, with no prior expertise needed, and the meeting can be attended in person or virtually.
