About this event
Theorists and experimentalists meet at EMBL Heidelberg to talk about how living systems work, from active matter and cellular information processing to morphogenesis, behaviour, spatial ecology and the philosophy of biological understanding. Organised with EMBO, the format is unusually social, with theory and experiment speed dating, small group discussions, woodland walks, flash talks, posters and career sessions. Students and early-career researchers are especially welcome, and the meeting can be followed online as well as on site.
