About this event
Malaria, dengue, Lyme disease and trypanosomiasis all depend on insects and ticks, and this Keystone symposium in Geneva looks at the vector biology behind new ways to control them. Sessions take in virus-vector interactions, mosquito reproduction and Plasmodium, tick-borne zoonoses and the susceptibility of Aedes aegypti to arboviruses. Organised by scientists from Institut Pasteur, Harvard and elsewhere, it runs jointly with the global virome meeting and makes a point of supporting junior scientists.
