About this event
Metabarcoding lets you profile a whole microbial community from DNA, and this free hour from EMBL-EBI's Germana Baldi explains how. It covers what the 16S, 18S, LSU and ITS markers each reveal, how MGnify's amplicon pipeline processes data against databases such as SILVA, where its limits lie and how to explore public analyses for your own questions. It is aimed at students and researchers who already know basic sequencing concepts, and a recording follows the next day.
