OMass raises $310 million for endocrine and immunology programs

OMass announced the Series C on October 15, with Bain Capital Life Sciences, Forbion and Novo Holdings joining as co-leaders and new investors.1 The company plans to advance OMS1620 through Phase 2 testing for congenital adrenal hyperplasia and ACTH-dependent Cushing’s syndrome.1

OMass says OMS1620 is designed to bind its target receptor for longer and stay active as hormone levels rise.1 The company says these properties could help more patients reach hormone levels closer to normal while taking glucocorticoids.1

The financing will also support earlier programs, including a potential first-in-class SLC15A4 inhibitor for lupus and other conditions linked to excess interferon production and harmful B-cell activation.1 The FDA approved Crenessity in 2024, and it is currently the only available drug for congenital adrenal hyperplasia.1 Neurocrine reported $301.2 million in Crenessity sales for 2025.1 Vertex is also pursuing the market with atumelnant, which came from its acquisition of Crinetics Pharmaceuticals.1
